Responsible for needs assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of educational experiences for staff. Operates independently, acting as a consultant for clinical areas, directors, and managers as assigned.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><strong>What you will do:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs comprehensive assessment of clinical staff education needs.<\/li>\n<li>Develops clinical education programs based on the needs assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Implements educational programs based on the needs of clinical staff.<\/li>\n<li>Designs orientation programs for new employees.<\/li>\n<li>Implements orientation programs for new clinical employees.<\/li>\n<li>Periodically assesses effectiveness of implemented programs.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to develop educational materials and programs.<\/li>\n<li>Teaches required AHA certification courses.<\/li>\n<li>Responds to clinical staff requests, emails, questions, and requests.<\/li>\n<li>This position may require staffing the unit based on patient and staffing needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>This description is not intended and should not be construed to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills and efforts or work conditions associated with the job.
